Keeping it Fresh: MBA Alumni Spring Networking Event

STEM Lecture: The Roots of our Modern World

Join Dr. Adam Berry, an anthropological archaeologist to learn about early complex socities. Anatomically modern humans have existed on this planet for roughly 300,000 years. But about 8,000 years ago, complex systems of social organization started developing which facilitated the growth of the world’s first regional-scale polities, often referred to as chiefdoms, and in some instances laid the organizational groundwork on which ancient states and modern nations would eventually be built.

Networking Mocktail Party

Help students learn to network! This event connects current students with Sac State alumni in a reception setting, allowing students to chat with professionals and hone their new networking skills. Alumni should plan to arrive between 5:30 - 6:00 p.m. Students will join the reception in progress at 6:00 p.m. Enjoy mocktails and conversation, while helping students get valuable experience.

The WELL, Sacramento State
The Sac State 5K Fun Run through the beautiful Sac State campus is an event for every physical level and ability! This race is open to alumni, students, faculty, staff, and community members. Be sure to register as an alum for a special bib and stop by the Alumni Association booth at the race festival. Race will sell out, register today!

Sac State Night @ SF Giants
Monday, April 21, 6:45 p.m.
Oracle Park, San Francisco
The San Francisco Giants are excited to welcome back all Sacramento State alumni, students, family, staff, and faculty to Oracle Park for our annual Sac State Night! Join fellow Hornets and cheer on your SF Giants as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers. We sold out of the tickets with the giveaway last time, so get your tickets early!

- Game ticket for Monday, April 21 vs. the Milwaukee Brewers

ASI Peak Adventures
ASI Peak Adventures offers outdoor trips, gear rentals, team building at the Challenge Center, summer camps, and a full service bike shop! All services are open to Alumni. Be sure to claim your free Alumni Association membership to get a discount!
Summer Camps for kids ages 8-17
Sac State Aquatic Center
Located on the beautiful Lake Natoma in Gold River, the Aquatic Center is a National Boating Instruction Safety Center where we offer classes, camps, facility reservations, team building, youth groups, and equipment rentals. So, you don’t have to have your own equipment to enjoy beautiful Lake Natoma. The Aquatic Center is open to the general public. Be sure the claim your free Alumni Association membership and pay the discounted affiliate rate on equipment rentals.
